Auto-Insurance
If you have been injured in an automobile accident, there is usually coverage for your therapy. If you are at fault, or have been hit by someone without insurance, coverage is normally paid through the PIP (Personal Injury Protection) part of your insurance. If the other party has insurance, and is found at fault, then they should cover your therapy.

Therapy must be medically necessary for it to be covered. Usually this will require a perscription from your medical doctor, chiropractor, or naturopath.

Before starting therapy, check with the insurance company that will be paying the benefits to see if massage is covered for you. When massage is provided as a benefit, it will usually be paid for 100%.

In order to process your auto claim, we will need:

  • Claim number
  • Insurance company name
  • Insurance adjuster’s name and phone number
  • Claim benefit information

Medical Insurance
We currently accept:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross
  • Cigna
  • CorVel
  • First Choice Health
  • Great-West Healthcare
  • Health Allies/United Health Allies

You can find out if your medical plan covers massage by calling its customer service phone number (usually located on your medical insurance card).

Therapy must be medically necessary for it to be covered. Usually this will require a perscription from your medical doctor, chiropractor, naturopath, or nurse practitioner.

In order to process your insurance claim, we will need you to bring the following to your first visit:

  • Prescription from your PCP (Primary Care Provider) if you are not on a self-referring plan
  • Identification (driver’s license/state ID)
  • Medical insurance card
  • Co-pay (if applicable)

If your plan has a deductible which has not been fulfilled, then you will be responsible for making payment for the session. Deductibles are renewed each year, or at the start of a new policy. Please contact your insurance company to find out if you have a deductible and whether it has been fulfilled. If your deductible has not been met, please bring your payment with you.
